First Came Friday....

🐣🌿🌸🕊️💗 Easter is Coming! 🐣🌿🌸🕊️💗

But Friday had to come before Sunday.

Before the celebration of the empty tomb, there was the weight of the cross.
Before the joy of resurrection, there was suffering, sacrifice, and silence.

Good Friday reminds us that God didn’t skip over the hard parts.

Jesus walked through betrayal, pain, and death—not because He lost… but because He was making a way.

It’s easy to rush ahead to Easter morning, especially when we’re teaching kids. We love the joy, the celebration, the “He is risen!” moments. But the truth is—we understand Easter best when we don’t skip Good Friday.

Because it’s on Friday that we see:

  • The depth of God’s love
  • The cost of our redemption
  • The reality that God is with us even in the hardest moments

And that’s something our kids need to understand too.

That’s why I’ve created simple, meaningful Easter resources to help you teach the full story—from the Last Supper to the Resurrection—in a way kids can truly grasp.

One of my favorites is a Jesus’ Last Week Easter Craft, where kids walk through the major events leading up to Easter Sunday with visuals and Bible verses they can understand.

You’ll also find lessons and activities that help children connect the story of the cross to the joy of the empty tomb—without skipping the meaning in between.

👉 You can explore all the Easter resources here:

As you prepare for Easter, I hope you’ll take time to pause on Friday.

Because without the cross…
there is no empty tomb.

And without Good Friday…
Easter Sunday wouldn’t mean the same.

Grateful for you and the way you’re sharing the truth with the next generation! 💛

God Bless!

💕 Happy Valentine's Day Weekend! 💕 I know it's quite not the weekend but we've already had the opportunity to hand out Valentine's Day gifts to several groups this week. I wanted to share with you this free coloring sheet that we gave out as our Valentine's Day cards. We rolled them up like a scroll, tied them with a pretty ribbon, and then attached a card from us. Kids could take them home and color them. I love Valentine's Day because it's a great way to hand out Jesus themed cards to...
